This World is ever changing, yet God is the same. And, while our circumstances change daily, the expectation that God has for His creation does not. Doing what GOD requires of us requires Faith and Faith without Works is dead. Godly Works include but, not limited to doing good and sharing with others. When doing Godly things there is a need for us to make and offer sacrifices to accomplish our tasks.
As stated earlier, this world is changing every second. The Earth is changing--Global Warning or some scientists may refer to it as the Pulse of the Earth. Nevertheless, how do we, as a people Respond, React, and Relate, once we Realize that life is sometimes not what we had hoped for it to be? Do we grumble, resent our lives, complain or do we give Thanks in the midst of it all.
We are coming up on one of the most important seasons of the year....Christmas season. What is our main focus? Buying gifts for ourselves or for family members and friends. And, when we give are we giving in the same Spirit as God gave His only Son JESUS for our Sin debt? Are we giving in the Spirit of making this rapidly changing world a better place for someone less fortunate or confused or lonely? And, lets say that we ourselves do not get that one thing we hoped for the most....that one material thing. What will be our response? Will we still give God the Glory in our actions and the Praise from our mouths? Or, will we concentrate on what we don't have? Forgive me Lord.
If we don't get that toy, that car, that coat, that diamond, that house, that job, husband or wife, we must remember that we are already Blessed beyond the wildest dreams of other people in this world. If our body aches, if we can't see nor run or move about the way we once did, if we don't have much money in the bank yet, our bills are paid and we have food to eat....People, don't we have many things to be THANKFUL for?
YES, as we are BLESSED beyond measure every single day of our lives.
LORD, I GIVE ALL PRAISES AND THANKS TO YOU.
